Golf is a highly demanding sport that requires tremendous levels of athleticism as well as mental focus. Higher Endeavors’ approach to golf is to help individuals develop general athletic abilities and then to help them translate that into an effective golf game. Without foundational athletic ability optimal performance will always be difficult to attain.
Golf programming starts with a general needs analysis that is performed by filming a client’s golf swing at a local driving range, with further visits at the start of every successive month to assess improvements as well as additional needs. Once swing mechanics are analyzed further testing is done to determine overall physical and athletic capabilities. After all analysis has been completed Higher Endeavors develops programming to specifically address stability, mobility, strength, and power development as they pertain to the golf
swing. Our objective for each client is to develop the physiological potential to create a highly effective and highly reproducible golf swing that will lead to lower scoring on the golf course.
Along with fitness programming, nutritional guidance is provided to help ensure optimal physiological performance. Lifestyle practices, including mental conditioning, are also addressed to ensure peak focus and performance on the golf course.
To further the development of the necessary traits that golf requires all clients have access to weekly yoga classes as well as monthly educational workshops.
To culminate the golf program Higher Endeavors takes each golfer to an agreed upon course, such as Cog Hill, to put all of the hard work into practice.
