Set coffee grinder on scale and hit tare.
Add 21 grams of coffee beans into the grinder.
Select 200º F on the kettle (or closest temperature) and start heating the water.
Grind the coffee until all beans are ground.
Add the ground beans into the French press, and place on the scale. Press tare to zero the weight.
Once the water is at the desired temperature, pour 336 grams of water into the French press. Set a timer for four to five minutes, depending on flavor preference.
After approximately 30 to 60 seconds lightly stir the coffee to break up the coffee layer that forms at the top of the water.
Once your desired timer is up, press the plunger all the way down, and then pour coffee into your cup our preferred vessel.
