Ingredients
- 1/2 medium onion, skin removed
- 1 bulb garlic, skin removed
- 2-inch knob of ginger, peeled
- 1 large lemon (including the rind)
- 1 medium orange (including the rind)
- 16 oz apple cider vinegar (preferably organic, with the “mother”)

Ingredient Variations
- 2 pieces of fresh turmeric root
- 2 fresh peppers, the hottest you can find

- Place the chopped ingredients into a clean glass jar.
- Pour apple cider vinegar over the ingredients, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Seal the jar tightly and store it in a cool, dark place. Shake the jar daily to aid the infusion process.
- After 1-2 weeks, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve to separate the liquid from the solids.
- Add honey to the liquid to taste, stirring until well combined.
- Transfer the tonic to a clean bottle and store it in the refrigerator.
Usage
- For general immune support, take 1-2 teaspoons daily.
- If you’re experiencing cold or flu symptoms, take 1 teaspoon every 3-4 hours until you feel better.
